Indigenous Group Tagbanua (also known as: Tagbanuas)
Location Philippines, Northern Palawan, Coron island, and Eastern and Western coastal areas of central Palawan, largely in the municipalities of Aborlan, Quezon, and Puerto Princessa.
Estimated Population 2,000 (1985, SIL), about 235 families -or- 129,000 (1987, OSSC) [note: population figures vary widely by source on this group].
Environment Coastal
Lifestyle Semi-nomadic (Mostly sedentary, but they will move dwellings when a new piece of land is cultivated).
