Web Editing and Data Entry
Production of pages for our Indigenous Mapping project. Good organization
and communication skills, detail-oriented, understanding of HTML and at
least one HTML editing software i.e. FrontPage or Dreamweaver. May also
be asked to webmaster for other pages on the Native Planet site. Minimum
commitment of five months, but longer working relationships are encouraged.
Required Skills: Native English speaker, outstanding
writing/editing skills. Experience preferred (published writers or editors).
Minimum commitment: 6-10 hours per
week for a period of at least 5 months.

Database Quality Assurance
We are looking for a Quality Assurance person to assist in maintaining
our Indigenous Mapping web pages. Main responsibilities will incude: Scan
all the current published pages and document all errors, formatting/grammatical
issues, non-functional URLs and research pages which may need to be re-written
entirely. Confirm and follow up that all outstanding issues are rectified
and correctly republished. Ensure that Quality Assurance issues and actions
are communicated regularly and accurately. This is an important role within
the organisation. It requires a keen eye for detail and consistency.
Full training will be given. We are looking for a minimum commitment of
6-10 hours per week for five months, but are happy to take volunteers
on for longer if they are happy in their role.

Archival Assistant
We are looking for someone with Basic IT skills, FTP and Excel knowledge,
to assist in archiving data on our servers, to preserve links to referenced
data. Key responsibilities include: Find contact information for web sites
with which we wish to maintain links and/or information. Archive information
for which we receive permission. Track, record and communicate all activities.
We would like a minimum commitment of 5 months for the role.
