Mentawai Expeditions: Details & Pricing

Siberut is one of the world’s densest and wildest rainforests. This is an extreme adventure tour, not one for visitors seeking conventional comfort. We currently offer both 10- and 12-day tours departing from Padang, Sumatra. To guarantee exclusivity, tour frequency is carefully limited and your group’s maximum size is six, ensuring quality interaction with your Mentawai hosts and maximal freedom to customize your tour. Dates are flexible but depend on ferry availability from the mainland.

Tours for 10 or 12 days, Padang to Padang, include:

• Guide, porter(s) and assistant/cook
• Round trip ferry transportation Padang/Siberut
• Boat charter to/from Muara Siberut
• Trekking permit and police registration
• Traditional cultural food and lodging
• Host village taxes
